In a waiting room, Elena waits for her daughter to finish an audition with an important film director.

Theirs is a visceral relationship: Elena has been concerned with Susi and her happiness all her life and has projected her own thoughts onto her.

Time seems to stand still and the woman begins a long confession to the audience about how they got to that moment.

Her words bring to life her daughter, her uncompromising husband, and all the characters they meet along the way.

Between one anecdote and another, the woman always brings the conversation back to herself, to what she would have liked or could have done, but didn't.

fact. In the transport of the story, in which the daughter grows through the events that the mother narrates, in some way also the

mother becomes aware of her own inner maturity, to the point of understanding that it is never too late to

start a new life .
